These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Keipt mobile application (“App”) operated by Nyktora Group, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the App. You must have a valid Apple ID or Google account to create a Keipt account.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Service Description
Keipt provides:
- Receipt scanning: Cloud-based AI processing to digitize paper receipts (images are transmitted securely and not stored after processing)
- Expense tracking: Automatic categorization, search, and organization of receipt data
- Spending insights: Visual breakdowns and trends of your spending patterns (paid plans)
- Tax preparation tools: IRS-compatible categories and exportable reports (Max plan)
Subscription Terms
Plans and Pricing
Keipt offers three tiers:
- Free: 10 scans per month, auto-categorization, 7-day spending insights
- Pro: Unlimited scans, full spending insights history, cloud sync, family groups, smart search
- Max: Everything in Pro, plus multiple business entities, IRS expense categories, tax-ready CSV and PDF exports, Annual Spending Wrapped

Billing and Renewal
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s subscription settings (not within the App)
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after the notice period.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit fraudulent, fabricated, or altered receipts
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the App
- Circumvent any usage limits or access controls
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Nyktora Group, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your data belongs to you. You retain full ownership of all receipt data, images, and business information you create within the App. We claim no ownership over your content.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Specifically:
- Keipt is not a financial advisor. Spending insights are informational only and do not constitute financial advice.
- Keipt is not a tax professional. IRS categories and tax exports are provided as tools to assist your record-keeping. Consult a qualified tax professional for tax advice.
- OCR accuracy is not guaranteed. Always review scanned data before relying on it for important purposes.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NYKTORA GROUP, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Termination
- By you: You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide notice when possible.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law, Dispute Resolution) will continue to apply.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Texas.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
Small Claims Exception: Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within that court’s jurisdictional limits.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may delete your account and stop using the App.
